Lunata redefines what a cosmetic medical practice could feel like - warm, calm, and grounded in Berkeley’s creative and age-positive identity. We partnered with the husband-and-wife physician ownership team and architect Studio Anand Sheth to transform a 1,140-square-foot medical office suite along the Telegraph corridor into a welcoming, hospitality-forward environment. Through selective demolition, new finishes, custom millwork, upgraded lighting, and refreshed exam and procedure rooms, the project reimagined a conventional clinic with curved architectural elements, integrated shelving, and warm neutral materials that softened the clinical setting while improving circulation and patient comfort.

Completed within an occupied multi-tenant medical building on a fast-track seven-week schedule, the project balanced thoughtful design detailing with practical functionality, including ADA restroom upgrades, reconfigured doors and partitions, and a glazed procedure room entry, to create a space that feels both elevated and approachable.
